El-Eicib is the language of Eiciba and is the lingua franca of the varying traveler tribes within the country. The language is descended from both Coptic as well as Egyptian Arabic.

Phonology and Orthography

El-Eicib is written using the Arabic Script in the modern day, with the Coptic script being mostly used for religious Kemetic ceremonies. The Franko, or Franko-Arabizi, alphabet is a standardized, but informal alphabet sometimes used in informal communication online between friends, and will be used below for ease of use. Said script has also found limited use in radio-based military orders and communications.
