Main Phonological Shifts
The Proto-Nezo-Germanic rhotic /ɾ/ smoothed out into /ɣ/. This change also occured in Central Nezo-Germanic (which was influenced by the shift in Southern Nezo-Germanic).
The Class I noun ending "-as" weakened the "a":
/as/ > /əs/ > /z/ in some circumstances
Heavy intervocalic voicing.
