The Archduchy of Bá'álaśaya (Bá'álaś: Kôśimiáne Bá'álaśaja, IPA: /kɔ̄ʃīmʲánɛ̄ báʔálʌ̄ʃʌ̄jʌ̄/, Źajhôłuyan: Sumuxaja Baqalaśaja, IPA: /sʊmʊʃaja bagalaʃaja/ is a country in the Loquille region of the continent of Petra. It is an absolute monarchy, with Archduke Majra Fhema Awvwani II (IPA: /majra ɸɛma awvʷani deɾdɾejɔ/) at the head of the country. Its national capital is Çá'árá, with other cities including Buôya, Vêla and Çúhráyá. Its state religion is Vá'ahurá, with Êrôyan folk religion, Ĥurrè'îđism, Seylan folk religion and the human religions of [Christianity] and [Judaism] also being recognized. Its currency is the Bá'ále, with 1 Standard Nezomere Point equating to 1.45 BLE. Having a colorful history of monarchies, republics and everything in between, in times long past, it was a colony of the Istrelian Empire. Its monarchy is known to be highly incompetent, notoriously having made several bad decisions throughout their country's history. It is was member of the Loquillan alliance, which also consists of Sante Spirite, the Leviathan Sea Empire, and the Lordship of Asteria and the Selenes, but it was removed by the other countries due to "a violation of both human and democratic rights".

History

The first evidence of society in what is today the land that occupies the territories of Bá'álaśaya goes back to thousands of years ago, when the ancient Bá'álic civilization of Vé'éleyiś arose from several cultures mingling into one: the Ĵircukala culture, the Śeembra culture and the Vá'áyá culture.
